What Are We Unknowingly Losing Lately
There was a similar question I heard in a film about the Tudors:
"What is the most valuable resource that we lose irreversibly?"
The answer: ....

The answer is: "Time."
And then, as today, we still cannot get our time back. But there is another value that I hope we will stop losing. And that we will restore.
The human - literally and figuratively.
Human closeness, emotional connection, and our ability to build genuine relationships are among the values that are increasingly being pushed into the background. And yet they are at the very heart of our psychological and emotional well-being.
In times of communicating online, creating with AI, robotization, and automation, it is becoming increasingly difficult for people to deal with their emotions. With chat, it's easy; with a robot, it's simple; with a machine, it's fast... And it seems they are looking for the same thing when there is another person standing in front of them.
In my work with people, I often see how difficult it can be to recognize and express one's own emotions, to set healthy personal boundaries, and to create close and fulfilling relationships.
In these times of spiritual seeking as well, escape can be found in an illusory world, where the spiritual ego feeds itself, where you can be all-powerful. But here and now, when there is a person in front of you, with their wounds and feelings, you forget that you are also human.
Sometimes, even behind the pursuit of spiritual development, personal transformation, and self-discovery, there can be an escape from our own feelings, vulnerability, and real closeness with another person.
As for the world of materialism, where the "prince on a white horse" has become the "owner of a car with lots of horsepower," this too is not a matter of development, but of neglecting what it means to be human. And there are countless more examples...
Several times lately I have found myself saying or hearing:
"He is a human being, just like you, and he is afraid."
"As a human being, with a human attitude, you would understand."
"I need human understanding."
Sometimes, behind these words are unspoken needs for understanding, acceptance, love, respect, security, and emotional closeness.
Perhaps it is useful for each of us to remember: Yes, I am a soul, with a spirit, in a body. Perhaps I come from a higher dimension. Perhaps I have qualities that surpass those of some others. Perhaps I have wounds that are more painful. But I am simply human. And there is another human being standing before me. With their trials, skills, pain, history, hopes, dreams, and longings... Everyone who stands before me is my mirror.
And when conflict, distance, misunderstanding, or recurring painful situations arise in our relationships, we can ask ourselves not only, "What is wrong with the other person?" but also, "What pattern of mine is being activated in this relationship? "Let us breathe in the scent of a flower. Let us stroke an animal. Let us hug a child. And let us pray that this will help... To reclaim our humanity.
To reclaim our ability to be truly present - with our feelings, vulnerability, boundaries, and need for closeness. To be ourselves without losing our connection with the other person.
This is also one of the directions in which I work with people - through the "Authentic Presence" method, subconscious work, and deep personal transformation, we explore the old patterns that influence the way we think, feel, choose, and build relationships.
